Basque Soccer Friendly

The Basque Soccer Friendly was a professional match featuring La Liga’s Athletic Club de Bilbao and Liga MX’s Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho.

The brief was to combine sporting, social media and economic stats in an engaging way to show the event impact. The animation includes embedded xml data feeds, which were used to generate 2nd screen infographics to be shared on social media channels.
